Evelyn Kaechler Durney1932 - 2015LOGAN, UTAH - Evelyn Kaechler Durney passed away on December 10, 2015, at the Rocky Mountain Care Facility of Logan after a brief illness. She was born on August 23, 1932, in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Emil Kaechler and Frieda Suess Kaechler. She moved with her parents to Logan in 1951 to be closer to extended family. She married Dan Roy Durney on November 18, 1977. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, and a number of cousins, uncles, and aunts. She is survived by her husband Dan, cousins and step-children. Evelyn and Dan were avid square dancers performing with a number of groups in the western states as well as Hawaii. Appreciation is expressed to Rocky Mountain Care for their thoughtful and compassionate care provided to Evelyn during her illness. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 12:00 pm in the Logan 19th Ward (1250 North 600 East) A viewing will be from 10:30 - 11:30 am.
