Evelyn M. MenhornZANESVILLE: Evelyn M. Menhorn, 90, of Zanesville died at 11:25pm Sunday, September 14, 2014 at the Genesis Hospice & Palliative Care following a short illness.She was born on February 3, 1924 in Zanesville Ohio the daughter of Clarence E. and Helen J. (Allwood) Bell.Evelyn was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid, Golden Agers and was an avid Ohio State and Blue Devil's fan. She was also very active in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren's lives.Evelyn is survived by daughter, Donna (Don) Savage of Zanesville; sons, William I. (MaryAnn) Menhorn Jr. of Zanesville, and Richard (Sue) Menhorn of Suwanee, GA; granddaughter, Diana Donahue of Zanesville; grandsons, Christopher Menhorn of Columbus, David (Michelle) Donahue of Four Oaks, NC, Douglas Donahue of Charlotte NC, Steven Menhorn of Baltimore MD; as well as many special nieces and nephews.Evelyn was preceded in death by husband William I. Menhorn Sr. whom she married February 14, 1948; and sister, Elinor (Bell) Barrett.Visitation will be held from 2 to 4pm & 6-8 pm Wednesday September 17th at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, September 18th at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Matzke officiating. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
