Evelyn Simmons, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on January 22, 2025, in Burlington, North Carolina. She was born on July 7, 1948, to Carl and Carla Stewart.
She is survived by her partner, Frank Simmons, her three children: David Simmons (spouse Kathy), Pamela Jones (spouse Kenneth), and Wendy Foushee, and her five grandchildren.
Evelyn was known for her warm smile, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for her family. She had a passion for cooking delicious foods and hosting family gatherings. Her recipe for fried will always be cherished by those who had the pleasure of tasting it.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and joy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
