Everett Hubbard Jr.RICHMOND, Ind. - Everett "Junior" Hubbard Jr. passed away Aug. 17, 2011, at his residence. He was born on July 8, 1927, in Connersville, Ind., to Everett Sr. and Nellie Dees-Hubbard. Junior served his country in the United States Army during the Germany and Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and enjoyed spending time with family, fishing and being outdoors. He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Jim (Anita) Hubbard of Hagerstown, Ind., Sharon Kay (Larry) Cornett of Connersville, Ind., Carol Lynn Hubbard of California, Margaret (Les) Shane, Gerald Hubbard, and Charles Hubbard, all of Richmond, Ind.; brothers, Joe Hubbard and Walter Hubbard, both of Fort Myers, Fla., Drexel Hubbard and John Hubbard, both of Richmond, Ind.; sisters, Mary Puckett of Richmond, Ind., Beulah Powers, Linda Davis and Dorothy Ray, all of Liberty, Ind. He also leaves behind many grandhildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirly Packwood-Hubbard; daughter, Linda Howe; brother, Ronnie Hubbard; and sister, Irene Puckett. Visitation will be held on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Community Family Funeral Home.
