Everett L. ScottColumbus, OHEverett L. Scott, age 66 of Columbus, passed away at his residence on July 29, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 18, 1950 to the late Mose Hart Sr., and Juanita (Barnes) Troupe in Memphis, TN. Everett served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked at Defense Depot in Memphis, TN and retired from Defense Finance and Accounting Service in Columbus, OH, currently employed at The Home Depot on Hamilton Road. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Gerald Scott and stepfather, Charles Troupe. Everett is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Carol (Rogers) Scott; children, Ronald Scott, Gillian Scott and Charles Scott; grand-pup Cognac; siblings, Jacquelyn Scott, Islam Beyah, Jocelyn (Bobby) Downs, Karolyn Troupe, Lisa Hart-Edwards, Livia Hart-Woods, and Mose Hart, Jr., several nieces, nephews and cousins.
