Evon Ross Ramsey, 73, of Cordele, Georgia, passed on January 31, 2023. Evon was born on July 29,1942. On July 29,1942 the union of Mrs. Evon Ross and James Cross was blessed with the birth of a beautiful daughter. Born in Cordele,Georgia she was named Evon Ross.

She was educated in the public school system of Crisp County. Early in life she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and became a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church. At Shady Grove, she served as an usher.

She leaves many precious memories to her loving and devoted children, Mrs. Melinda Ross, Mrs. Elizabeth Ross (Carter),Mrs. Melanie Ramsey,Ms. Pamela Ross, Mr. Antione Ramsey, Mr. Kevin Ross all of Cordele, Georgia; 24 loving grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; her loving brother Mr. Charlie Ross of Cordele, Georgia ; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
