FAIR HAVEN - Faith Adele Phillips, 47, of Fair Haven died Wednesday, October 26, 2016 in her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born on June 17, 1969, in Rutland to Marshall and Sandy (Casper) Darby. She grew up in Fair Haven and attended Fair Haven Union High School. She married Raymond Henry "Hank" Phillips on Aug. 31, 2002. Together they enjoyed fishing and were active members of Rutland City Church. She enjoyed quiet times, drawing and coloring. Mrs. Phillips is survived by her husband and four daughters Ashley Darby, Latasha Cook, Caren Monahan, and Elizabeth Monahan, all of New York; a son, Eric Darby of Connecticut; four stepdaughters Brittney Phillips, Stacy Cathcart, Roberta-Jean Phillips and Savannah Phillips; 12 grandchildren; her mother, Sandy, and stepfather, Carmi "Dad" Reed, of Fair Haven; two sisters Cindy Bushey and Cher Sun of Fair Haven; two brothers Troy Darby of Fair Haven and Shawn Darby of Hadley, New York; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her father. Friends may call from noon until 2 p.m. service Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, at Durfee Funeral Home, 119 North Main St., Fair Haven. Burial will be at a later date in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. A celebration of her life will be held from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016, at Castleton Community Center, 2108 Main St, Castleton.
