On May 5, 2025, Minneapolis, Minnesota lost a beloved member of the community with the passing of Faiza El Baghdad. Faiza was born on March 4, 1947, and lived a full and meaningful life.

She was a devoted mother to her four children, Imane Kablaoui, Huda El Baghdad, Waleed El Baghdad, and Mohammed El Baghdad, and a cherished grandmother to her eight grandchildren. Faiza found immense joy in spending time with her family and creating lasting memories with them.

One of Faiza's greatest passions was Quran teaching, where she found solace and purpose in sharing her knowledge and wisdom with others. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith.

Unfortunately, Faiza's battle with Alzheimer’s disease ultimately took her from us too soon. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Faiza El Baghdad's legacy of love, compassion, and dedication will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
