We are saddened to announce the passing of Fatima Cote, born on December 30, 1956, in Bradenton, Florida, United States, to the late Luis and Laura Correia. Fatima peacefully left this world on June 8, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

She married Joseph Cote in 1999. Fatima leaves behind her three children: Mitchell Baptista, Jen Baptista, and Sean Baptista. Fatima was also a proud grandmother to two grandchildren, Ryleigh Beaulieu and Jace Rego. A proud great grandmother to Karson DaCosta. Fatima has four siblings. Luis Correia in Faial, Portugal, Joesph Correia and his wife Cheryl from Fairhaven, Ma, Guido Correia in Faial, Portugal, her only sister, Elia Stanley and her husband David from Westport, Ma, and the late Jeffrey DeCastro. Fatima was an proud aunt to her nieces and nephews and great niece and great nephews.

Fatima attended New Bedford High School and went on to work at Titleist where she made many lifelong friends. She enjoyed hobbies such as traveling, cooking, camping, visiting the casino, spending time at the beach, shopping, and decorating for the holidays - especially her beloved Christmas tree.

Despite battling lung cancer since October 2023, with pulmonary complications ultimately leading to her passing in June 2024, Fatima remained positive and never lost her zest for life.

She will be remembered for her warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering love for her family. Fatima's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her.
