Fern Haley Dytko PORT ORANGE, FL (Formerly of Racine and Chippewa Falls, WI.) - passed away peacefully in her home at the age of 87 on Oct. 1, 2015. She was born on Feb. 15, 1929 in Slayton, MN to Tillie and Edwin Iverson. Fern was an ambitious outgoing woman who had great zest for life that touched others through her profession, artwork, fashion and decorating flair. She welcomed many friends, embracing them as family along her journey on this earth. She will truly be missed by everyone who knew her but will forever have a special place in our hearts. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Edward Dytko, her parents, and brothers Roger and Dennis Iverson. She is survived by her children Daniel Haley (Tamara) , Brian Haley (Jackie), Christine Haley Koepsel (Mark) and Pete Haley (Traci), Edward's Children Sally Dytko Haddad (Chuck), Laura Lee Dytko Buchkovich (Steve), Edward Chip Dytko, Kate Williams (Chris) and known as Mommanie to her many grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Ted Iverson, Evy Maloney, and Gyda Nadreau. Our special thanks to Suzy Beckwith for her loving care for both Fern and Edward and the unique bond they made over the last 4 years of their lives. Our heartfelt gratitude to Halifax Hospice and many friends who graced us with their support, providing laughter, love and prayers.
