It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Fernando Fernandez, a beloved member of the Roswell community. He is survived by his three children (Joshua Fernandez, Sebastian Fernandez, Karyna Fernandez) and 4 bonus children (Austin Capener, Andrew Capener, Kennedy Bailey, Aidan Capener). He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother. Fernando, 42, was a kind and caring soul who always went out of his way to help others. He will be remembered for his infectious laughter, his love of music, and his passion for cars. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Fernando's memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace.

A funeral mass will be held in Fernando's honor on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, Roswell, New Mexico. Burial will follow at South Park Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to a reception at the church hall immediately after the service.
