Florence Gail MinterFlorence Gail Minter, (60), of Bossier City, LA, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 surrounded by her family in Tyler, TX. Gail was born on October 29, 1956, one of six daughters of Jefferson Davis (JD) and Wilda Jean Lindsey. Gail spent the majority of her life living in the Shreveport/Bossier City community, enjoying time with family and friends and creating lasting memories. Gail was resolute in her independence and never feared sharing her opinions about life, politics or on any other subject matter where someone would lend an ear. She will be remembered most for her free spirited nature, her candid honesty, her continuous desire to enjoy life to the fullest and her love for the Beatles.She is survived by her daughters, Tonya Taylor, Crystal Butler married to Kevin Butler; grandchildren Kristina Snyder, Kaitlyn "Gail" Nix, Talon Butler and Guy Taylor; sisters Nelda Takada, Brenda Bamburg, Penny Vucinach, Gracie Varnado and numerous nieces and nephews. Gail was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Mary Alvarez.Gail will be dearly missed by her family and friends, as she has left her indelible mark upon each of our hearts. May we reside in the words of one of her favorite songs and simply "love one another" in honor of her life and many contributions to ours.
