Florence E. "Trudy" Klotz1924 - 2015Florence E. "Trudy" Klotz, 91, of Kenosha passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, at Grand Prairie Nursing Home. Trudy was born on Aug. 22, 1924, in Kenosha to Joseph and Madelien (Bauschelt) Klotz, and she was educated in the schools of Kenosha. She worked for 37 years as a traffic manager and shipping foreman at Lowe Inc. Trudy was also a case manager for the Kenosha Unemployment Office. She was president of the Kenosha and Racine Women's Traffic Association. She was a lifelong member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. She volunteered for 15 years with the Mission House and organized bingo at St. George Catholic Church. Trudy enjoyed traveling including trips to California, Dallas, Portland, Miami, Kent, Ohio, and Toronto. She was an avid sports fan attending many Milwaukee Braves games and having season tickets to the Packers when they played in Milwaukee. Trudy faithfully fulfilled her role as godmother. She was preceded in death by, her parents; step mother, Agnes Roggendorf-Klotz; her sister, Lucille Schweiger; two brothers, Reverend Claude Klotz SDS, Joseph Klotz; and four step sisters, Anne Ernst, Agnes Widmar, Elizabeth Schneeberger and Helen Zievers.Trudy is survived by, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Funeral Mass for Trudy will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 4, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church (4804 - 7th Avenue) with burial to follow at St. George Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass.
