Laing, FlorenceFlorence C. Laing, 91, of Green Bay, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 25, 2017. Florence was born on April 25, 1925, to the late Harry and Priscilla Ormsby. She married Ken Devroy in 1943. In Florence's free time, she enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, knitting, volunteering, cheering on the Packers, animals, and socializing with her friends.The strong, loving, and feisty Florence is survived by two daughters, Linda (Michael) LaCount and Debbie Mullen; granddaughters, Michelle (Eric) Dunlap and Brenda Devroy; grandsons, Daniel Devroy Jr., Kenneth Devroy, and Richard Devroy; and numerous nieces and nephews.Florence is preceded in death by her husbands, Ken Devroy and James Laing; son, Daniel Devroy Sr.; granddaughter, Melissa LaCount; her parents; siblings, Albert (Char) Ormsby, Priscilla (Peter) Carmody, and Shirley (Jim) Gillis.A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of Memory Sharing at 3:00 p.m. at Lyndahl Funeral Home, 1350 Lombardi Ave. Burial will be in Fort Howard Cemetery.
