Florence M. Marietta passed away peacefully with family on August 15, 2019 at age 74. Born in New York, NY on February 21, 1945, daughter of Marie F. McCarthy and Wayne C.Marietta, A devout Catholic, she attended St John XXIII Ft Myers, and was an active part of the adjacent St John Villas Community.

She loved nature, genealogy, and researching her Irish roots. She worked at JC Penny’s for 26 years, retiring in Cape Coral.

Preceded in death by her parents, Navy LT. Wayne C. Marietta, killed in WW II, and her mother Marie Middleton ( McCarthy ), brother Kevin Marietta, and loving British step father Thomas W. Middleton of Cape Coral.

She is survived by her sister Christine Barton ( Middleton) of San Diego, and step sister Janet Hares ( Middleton) (UK), who will miss her dearly.

A beautiful memorial mass was held on Tuesday Aug 27th at St John XXIII church, Ft Myers. Many thanks to all those who loved and supported Flo in life and thereafter.
