Florence Soroken, 90, of Whitestone, New York, passed Tuesday, December 18, 2018. Florence was born to Harold Kail, and Jeanette Kail, May 18, 1928.

Florence graduated from Whitestone Academy in 1946 and received a degree from Cornell University in 1951. Florence worked at The Garment District until she retired in 1992.

Florence is survived by 3 children: Debra Strauss, Beth Strauss, and Michael Strauss. She also is survived by 2 grandchildren.
