Flowayne Bahler, 71 of Raytown, Missouri, passed on November 09, 2021. She was born on November 10, 1949, to Ralph and J. Carolyn (Bailey) Bahler, growing up on the family farm in Holt Count, MO.
She attended York College, York, NE, and later graduated Harding College, Searcy, AR, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1971. In January 1971 she married Jack Sandlin of Little Rock, AR. They later divored. While rearing their sons, she worked for the State of Arkansas Social Security Determination Department until she retired.
Flowayne loved her family and was especially devoted to her sons. After retiring she moved from Arkansas to Missouri to help care for her parents, making new friends as well as renewing old friendships and family ties in her home town of Oregon, MO. A college friend, Carl Baker of Crossville, TN, is also included in her list of devoted loved ones.
Ms. Bahler was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law Margaret "Billi" (Scott) Bahler.
Her survivors are her sons Derek and Jay Lynn Sandlin of the home in Raytown; brothers and sisters Lynda (Bob) Busbee, Forest Grove, OR, Terry Bahler , Savannah, MO, Emily (Dave) Nossaman, Olathe, KS, and Don (Pat) Bahler, Leavenworth, KS; five nephews, four nieces and 13 great nieces and nephews.
