Floyd O. Gollnick1928 - 2014Floyd Gollnick, 86, of Kenosha passed away on Thursday March 27, 2014, at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.Floyd was born on March 22, 1928, in Oakdale, Wis., the son of the late Charles and Margaret (Bartels) Gollnick. He was educated in the schools of Tomah. He was a member of the U.S. National Guard. He married Carolyn Wentler on Feb. 15, 1947 in Tomah. He was employed at Mac Whyte for 25 years. He was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church of Kenosha. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, repairing sewing machines, woodworking, and spending time with family and friends.Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Gollnick of Kenosha; his children, Jerry (Diane) Gollnick of Boulder, Colo., Pamela (Michael) Jepson of Racine; a brother, Rueben Gollnick of Kenosha; sisters, Ruth Bailey, Zetta (Fritz) Fredrickson of both of Tomah; grandchildren, Benjamin and Andrea Gollnick, and Carly Jepson. Floyd was preceded in death by his brother, Gerald Gollnick. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 5927 37th Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53140, from 9:30 -11 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. Burial Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
