Floyd loved telling off color jokes, flirting, and his favorite song "Sunday Morning Coming Down".Floyd worked construction and road maintenance his whole life including time at Les Strong, The Town of Lisle, and the company he owned with his brother, H & F Quail. He was a welder and a crane operator.He is survived by his sister, Aldine Gedeon, brother, Hugh Quail, children, Darlene Minix-Tracy, Dennis (Carla) Quail, Eileen (Mitch) Quail, Mark (Irene) Quail, step-daughter, Nadine Young, grandchildren, Dean, Dustin, Elizabeth, Freddy, Greg, Jacob, Leslie, Lisa, Rachel, and Wyatt, many beloved nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.He was predeceased by his parents, Leaman Avery Quail and Dorothy Lucinda Clute Quail, his wife, Beryl Willis Quail, his sisters and their spouses, Maud and Gerald Tillotson, Gladys and Pete Harding, his children, Dean Quail and Debbie Quail Longhini, and his niece, Lena Slack Quail.Floyd requested no services, but he will be remembered at the annual Memorial Day Party at The Pond.
