Frada Lovert Tillman, Jr., 58, of Moneta went to be with his LORD December 25, 2006 at his residence. Frada was born May 13, 1948 in Mobile, Ala., the son of the late Frada L., Sr. and Cordelia Mills Tillman. Frada was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Quesenberry Tillman on December 9, 1995. Frada was an Air Force veteran serving during the Vietnam War in Thailand. He was a 1978 graduate of Virginia Western Community College where he majored in engineering. Frada was a quality control technician for Rockdale Quarries of Roanoke, retiring in 2000. He loved NASCAR, fishing and spelunking in old caves. Frada leaves to cherish his memory his loving son, Warren Lee Tillman and his wife, Amy of Roanoke; two sisters, Connie Tillman of Roanoke and Carolyn (Bitsy) Kimberlin and her husband George of Moneta; aunt, Sue Wills and her husband, George of Bedford; a special friend, Rhonda Pitts; and four grandchildren, Eleanor, Andrew, Alan and Caithlin Tillman of Roanoke. A graveside service celebrating Frada's life will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 29, 2006 at Old Dominion Memorial Park at Cloverdale officiated by the Rev. Gary Hoffman.
