ALBION — Frances L. Blevins, 77, of Albion died on October 4, 2016, at Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville. She was born on Dec. 9, 1939, in French Lick, Indiana, to the late Patrick and Geneva (Durham) Parsons. She worked as a waitress at Blue Hills Golf Course and enjoyed cooking. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy, and listening to country music. Frances is survived by a daughter, Angie (Brian) Portmess of Albion; sons, Kevin (Pam) Blevins of Churubusco, Tom (Debbie) Blevins of Vinton, Virginia, Tracy Blevins of Albion, Robert (Kathy) Blevins of Vinton, Virginia, and Brian Blevins of Albion. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, a sister Wanda Blevins of Albion, and Terry Parsons of Goshen. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Robert, and brothers, Jim, Gene, Robbie, and Larry. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday Oct. 10, 2016, at Harper Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel, 771 Trail Ridge Road, Albion, with visitation from noon until 2 p.m. Burial is at Rose Hill Cemetery, Albion.
