Frances R. Dam1927 - 2014Frances Dam, 87, of Kenosha passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Home Inspired Senior Living in Somers.Frances was born on June 15, 1927, in Kenosha, the daughter of the late Salvatore Sam and Carmela (Puzzo) Leonetti. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Frances married Wilfred L. Dam on June 1, 1946, in Kenosha. Frances was a homemaker in her early years and later worked as a waitress/hostess at various restaurants. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, playing cards, puzzles, spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.Survivors include her children, Harvey (Gudrun) Dam, William Dam, Brian (Dinese) Dam; a sister, Eva Schraf; nine grandchildren, Lisa Hall, Erika (Barry) Keating, Shelly (Todd) Bloom, Heidi (Dennis) Meier, Toni Dam, Cristina Dam, Sara (Danny) Ametovski, Amy Freitag, Dana (Billy) Anderson; and 15 great grandchildren. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Dam in 1998, her siblings, Peter, Emil, Frank, Angeline, Emma, Julia, Ann, and Ida, and a daughter-in-law, Norma.A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 6-8 p.m. and Friday July 11, 2014, from 9:30-10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 4816 7th Avenue Kenosha, WI 53140, with A Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 a.m. Entombment All Saints Cemetery.Kenosha Funeral Services & Crematory8226 Sheridan Rd.Kenosha, WI 53143(262)652-1943www.kenosha-funeralservices.com
