BELL Frances Pat Bell, 91, died December 5, 2016. She was born on November 30, 1925 and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. Mrs. Bell lived in Jacksonville for 70 years. She was a loving wife and homemaker who played a very active and impactful role in the welfare of her 7 children, 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren despite decades of coping with the increasingly debilitating effects of glaucoma. Her struggles were compounded in the last 18 months of her life as a result of a series of major strokes. Her courage in facing these challenges was an inspiration to all who knew her. She was predeceased in 2009 by her loving husband of 65 years, Lester C. Bell, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory, 5 daughters: Janice Yarbrough, Judy Rooks, Debby Protonotarious (Nick), Lynda Touchton (Terry), Nancy Sheffield (Chip) of Cary, NC; 2 sons: Conrad Bell (Goi) of Chiang Mai, Thailand, Jerry Bell (Jeannie) of Atlanta, GA; 17 grandchildren: Be Bell of CA, Meadow Bell Lo (Tong) of CA, Naem Yuangjai of Thailand, Jay Bell of Thailand, Tim Yarbrough (Dayna), Kimberly Yarbrough Davis (Tim), Jeff Yarbrough (Jennifer), Greg Yarbrough (Sarah), Robert Moore, Jordan Bell Simcox (Brad) of GA, Lauren Bell Pallotta (Jim) of GA, Rachel Bell Bates (Noah) of GA, Madison Protonotarious, T.J. Touchton (Kim), Tyler Touchton, Lindsay Painter, Connor Sheffield of NC; 18 Great-Grandchildren: Emilia & Hayden Bell of CA, Rennen Lo of CA, Noah Yuangjai of Thailand, Peyton & Kenzey Yarbrough, Brooke, Sarah, Braden, Josiah, Jedidiah & Arie Davis, Chloe & Joe Yarbrough, Catherine & Amelia Simcox of GA, Samuel Pallotta of GA, Emma Bates of GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Westside Baptist Church, 7775 Herlong Road, 32205 with Rev. Ray Mayfield officiating.
