Benningfield, Frances Sue,Frances Sue Benningfield, 85, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away, Wednesday, May 31, 2017. She was born on January 5, 1932 in Fulton, Kentucky to the late Verlie and Clara Byrd.She had a long career with the J.C. Penny Co. and was a long time member of Buechel United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Billie Benningfield; three brothers, Eldon, Elvis and Herbert Byrd, and stepchild Phyllis Duley and her husband Larry. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Marsha Brown and Michael Brown; stepdaughter, Tanya Benningfield, eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Frances will be held Monday, June 5, 2017 at 10am in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Hwy.
