This obituary is administered by:
Francia Amparo, 71, the youngest daughter of Juan Maria Estrella and Ana Mercedes Breton, was born on February 24, 1944 in Santiago, Dominican Republic. In 1962, she immigrated to New York City where she worked in the garment industry and married her husband Julio Amparo, Sr. in 1967. In 1969, Francia and Julio relocated to Los Angeles, California where they for lived for 10 years. In 1979, the Amparo's settled in the Southern Columbia County Town in the Ellisville community. Francia was an extremely resourceful person and a savvy business woman. Always enjoying meeting new people, Francia was extremely outgoing but most importantly caring.   As a dedicated wife and mother, she and Julio had active engagement in both residential and commercial real estate for 36 years. Indeed, the love she had for God and her family was without measure. Without a doubt, one of her greatest joys was spending every waking hour with her 17 grandchildren. Surrounded by family, the Lord called Francia home on June 6th, 2015, after a short stay in the Haven Hospice Suwannee Valley Care Center.  Left to cherish her memories: a devoted husband Julio Amparo Sr., Brothers: Miguel Angel Breton (Carmen) and Rafael Estrella both from New York, NY; Children: Luis Fuertes (Jean) of Manhattan, KS, Jose Fuertes (Mel) of Biloxi, MS, Iris Amparo Stogner of Lexington, SC, Julio Amparo Jr. (Charlotte) of Lake City, FL, Wilson Amparo (Ashley) of Ocala, FL, and Alex Amparo (Carmen) of Mason Neck, VA.  Grandchildren: Heather (Daniel), Joe, Alaynna, Dominick (Anamalia), Madison, Savannah, Haleigh, Valorie, Evan, Nicholas, Nathan, Laycee, Isabelle, Lillyanna, Amber, Lauren, and Alex Jr.  Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, June 10th, 2015 at 1l a.m. at Gateway-Forest Lawn with Rev. Lowell Van Vleck of Glad Tidings Assembly of God  officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  A visitation will take place from 10-11:00 a.m., one hour prior to the beginning of the service on Wednesday. Arrangements are under the direction of GATEWAY-FOREST LAWN FUNERAL HOME, Lake City. Please sign the guestbook at www.gatewayforestlawn.com
