Brown, Francis C.Francis C. Brown, 73, of Kiel, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, November 15, 2016 at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan after a 6 year battle with cancer.He was born on August 28, 1943 in Urbana, Ohio, son of the late Homer & Maxine (Hitchcock) Brown.Frank was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army serving in Korea in the Signal Corps for 3 years during which he was nominated for "Soldier of the Year."In 1986 Frank met the love of his life; Anne Moeller. On August 28, 1992 they were married under the willow tree at the home they loved and shared. Frank was a jack-of-all trades, no project too big or too small; with Anne and their boys they restored their over 100 year old log home.Frank loved spending hours at the table with his family and friends sharing wisdom and offering guidance and perspective. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, gambling, chess, gardening and traveling in every state except Maine and Alaska. Most important to Frank was spending time with his family, teaching his children about life. Frank was a dear friend of Bill W for over 30 years. Survivors include his wife, Anne Brown, seven children; Barbie (George) Montano,Timothy Brown, Neilson Brown, George N. (Jena) Coulter VI, John (Ashly) Coulter, L. Charles Brown (Kristen Smarelli) and Sawyer Brown (Rachel Kindrick). He is further survived by 21 grandchildren; Josh, Julie, Brandon, Nashay, Chase, Starla, Gage, Shaelyn, Caelyn, Adaline, George VII, Amelia, Judah, Colin, Lily, Logan, Violet, John Jr, Fern, Arthur and Mason. Further survivors include sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Robert Moeller Jr., Robert Keppel, Margaret Heyn, Thomas Moeller, Jerry Moeller, Norman (Cheryl) Moeller , Therese Moeller, James (Maggie) Moeller, Bridget (Tom) Kisolek, Patricia McGlade, Monica (Lee) Parra. He is further survived by his sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by one daughter, Lisa Anne Coulter, one granddaughter, Jazmine, mother-in-law and father-in-law; Robert & Lucille Moeller, three brothers; Paul, Charles and Leslie, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Mary Beth Keppel, Jim Heyn and Francis (Debbie) Moeller.Funeral services for Frank will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt Funeral Home, 815 6th St., Kiel. Burial will take place in the Kiel City Cemetery. Kiel VFW Post # 6707 will conduct military rites.The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service.Online condolences at

Frank fought cancer, 3 rounds, winning the 1st and 2nd, sadly losing the last round.
