A Beloved Father, Husband, and Brother

We are gathered to mourn the passing of Frank "Butch" Blazek, who left this world on July 15, 2024, after a brief battle with Stage 4 Small Cell Lung Cancer. Butch was born on December 4, 1956, in Sherman, Texas, to his parents James Clarance Blazek and Mary Ellen Blazek.

Butch attended Whitesboro High School and went on to be a successful oil field worker, retiring due to severe injury in 1976. In his free time he enjoyed fishing, singing, listening to music and spending time with his wife.

Butch was a beloved, cherished husband and best friend to Candance Katherine Blazek, married 30 years. Butch left behind one son, Frankie Ray Blazek, and daughter in law Heather Blazek. Butch was also a proud grandparent to three adoring grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Butch will be sorely missed by his siblings - 5 sisters and 2 brothers, his numerous nieces and nephews and many, many friends.

Butch will always be remembered for his quick wit, infectious laughter, and love for life, For his devotion to his family, and his bold sense of humor. In his honor, we ask that you raise a glass and tell a funny story, laugh and listen to some music.
