FRANK A. PIRIH ST. JOHN, IN Frank A. Pirih, age 61, late of St. John, IN passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016 from complications of Diabetes. Frank was born on September 13, 1955 in Huancayo, Peru to the late Frank Sr. and late Maria (Nee Morante) Pirih. Frank was the beloved husband of Angela Lana Blosky for 12 years; loving step-father of Mitchell (Kelly) Blosky of Laguna Beach, CA; dear brother of Jane (David) Baca of Romona, CA and Jim (Jason) Pirih of Las Vegas, NV; fond uncle of Vinnie (Erin) Cole and Courtney Cole; Dearest nephew of Linda Secviar; Dear friend to Jack Lencioni and leaves behind his "Fur Children" Charlie and Chloe. Frank was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law Edward and Lana Cole (nee Secviar) and brother-in-law Vince Cole. Frank graduated from St. Joseph College, East Chicago, IN Class of 1976 and was attending Purdue University Calumet, Hammond, IN with anticipation of graduating in 2017. Frank's professional career started at First Options of Chicago INC / Spear Leeds and Kellogg, Chicago, IL. He later retired as Vice President, Goldman Sachs Execution & Clearing (GSOC). After retiring Frank was a Listed Derivative Clearing Consultant. He was a member of OCC's Roundtable / Option Operation Clearing Committee for the past 13 years. Long time active member of St. Matthias Church in Crown Point, IN where he belonged to the "Men's Club". Frank was a loving and giving individual of his time and resources, always willing to lend a helping hand to anybody who needed it. He loved animals and some of his favorite charities were the ASPCA & LeaderDogs for the Blind. Frank was loved and respected by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. He was a major influence and mentor to his step-son Mitch. Frank was a "Mans Man". Memorial Visitation on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel 11300 West 97th Lane (1/2 block west of U. S. 41 / Wicker Ave. at 97th Street) St. John, IN. from 12:00 p.m. noon until time of Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. Rev. David Simonetti,officiating.
