Frank Schindler, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 75 on March 24, 2023. Frank was born on July 21, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, to parents Henry and Mary Schindler.
Frank was a dedicated family man who always put his loved ones first. He is survived by his son, Frank Schindler Jr., his grandson Robert Schindler, his granddaughters Stefanie Stranger and Amy Schultz, and his three great-grandchildren Kelcey Leonard, Karson, and Kyler Schindler. Frank was also predeceased by his wife, Martha Schindler, who passed away in 2007.
Frank lived a full and vibrant life. He graduated from Loyola University with a degree in accounting and went on to have a successful career in finance. He was an avid sports fan, with a special love for the Chicago Cubs and Bears. He also enjoyed golfing and fishing, and he was always up for a good game of cards.
Frank will be remembered for his kind heart and his infectious laugh. He had a way of making everyone feel at ease, and he always had a joke or a story to share. He was a true gentleman who lived his life with grace and dignity.
Frank will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His family would like to thank the staff at St. Mary's Hospital for their compassionate care in his final days.
