Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evils for thou are with me, thou rod and staff they comfort me Psalm 23:4
The Morgan and Gray families deeply regret to announce the call to glory of our beloved father, grandfather, bother, uncle and cousin Counselor Frank Edwin Morgan. He was predeceased by his daughter, Pauline Morgan.
Frank Edwin Morgan was born and raised in Sanniquellie, Nimba County, as part of a large family including step-mother, and 14 siblings. He attended St. Mary’s Elementary and High School (1964 – 1976). Young Frank was an active member of the Nimba County Student Association during his matriculation at Cuttington University College, where he obtained a Mathematics degree in 1981. Frank was a Math instructor at Monrovia Central High School, G.W. Gibson and A.M.E. Zion, as well as Vice Principal at C.H. Deway High School in Tubmanberg before continuing his studies at the University of Liberia. He completed Lewis Arthur Grand School of Law in 1990 and earned a Masters in International Relations at the Abraham Banbagida School of International Studies in 2001.
Counselor Frank Edwin Morgan also served as Chairman of the Elections Commission, as well as an Assembly Member of the Transitional National Assembly of Liberia before establishing the Foundation Law Firm, on Lynch Street, in 2007.
Counselor Morgan leaves to mourn, his wife of 27 years, Mrs. Annie Anderson Morgan, children (Paul Morgan, Jr., Angeline Morgan, David Morgan and Prince Morgan), several nephews and nieces in USA and Liberia, uncles, aunties, fellow Knights, colleagues, former students, and a host of relatives and friends all around the world.
We have started to miss his unconditional love, witty humor and unwavering courtesy. As we celebrate his life of virtue and commitment to Nimba County and justice in Liberia, Counselor Morgan leaves us with the legacy of hard work, intellectual integrity and perseverance. To the many lives Counsellor Morgan touched, keep those memories alive by sharing them with one another, always remembering God loves Frank best. Frank was certainly ready to go home, after 3 years of battling cancer in Liberia.
