Frank Tadashi ItanoNovember 15, 1935 - May 30, 2014Frank "Franky" Tadashi Itano, 78, of Caldwell, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014 at a Caldwell Hospital.Franky was born on November 15, 1935 in Marsing, Idaho to Mitsugi and Masuno Itano. The family moved to Wilder, Idaho in 1948 and he graduated from Wilder High School. After graduating from high school Franky went into farming and spent most of his life tending to the land. He then went on to work for Wal Mart in Caldwell as the assistant manager in the produce department. Franky retired from Wal Mart in 2008. He enjoyed spending his spare time bowling and fishing. Franky married Barbara Schwanz and they later divorced. Even after the divorce the two remained close friends. This friendship was so strong that Franky helped Barbara thru her illness. Franky also loved his dog Buddy, the two were inseparable. He will always be known as a friendly and kind hearted person. He knew no stranger.Franky was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara (Schwanz) Itano, 4 brothers; Joe, Tucker, James and Kiyoshi Itano. He is survived by brother; John (Shirley) Itano, 3 sisters Mary Tanikuni, Lois Kondo and Joyce (Ben) Tom, 2 sister-in-laws; Chitose Itano and Mabel Itano. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Kohlerlawn Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to www.flahifffuneralchapel.com.
