Wright, Frank James11/3/1934 - 06/14/2017Frank James Wright, age 82, of Fort Pierce, FL, formerly of Horseheads, NY, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2017. Frank was born on November 3, 1934 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was predeceased his parents Frank and Genevieve (Meister) Wright. He was also predeceased by his 1st wife Inez Marie (White) in 1981. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Barbara, and his brother Peter Wright and his wife Diane of Port Orange, FL. Frank was a successful chef and owner of Wright's Bun-N-Bru Steak and Seafood House in Elmira Heights, NY for over 20 years. He retired at age 50 to South Florida with Barbara for 12 years, before coming home to Spanish Lakes Fairways, Fort Pierce, Florida in 1998.He is survived by 4 children, Darlene Ike (RC) of Horseheads, NY, Edward Wright of Elmira, NY, Dawn Webb (David), of Cheraw, SC, Louis Wright (Karen) of Kingsland, GA, 5 Stepchildren, Thomas Keefe (Eileen), of Millport, NY, Patricia Keefe of Clearwater, FL, Kathy Owen (Darrell) of Mocksville, NC, Jeanne Bleier (Mark) of Franklin, NC, and Timothy Keefe of West Palm Beach, FL.Together Frank and Barbara have 17 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.Frank was a prior member of the Elmira Heights Rotary. He was an amazing man. He was talented, intelligent, generous, kind and soft spoken and he will be dearly missed by all of us!Funeral services were held on June 17, 2017 at Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL with burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens also of Fort Pierce, FL. A celebration of his life was held at Spanish Lakes Fairways Clubhouse.
