Frank Roberts, 86, passed away on September 24, 2009, in Poway. Mr. Roberts was born on August 12, 1923, in San Diego. He was a lifetime resident of San Diego County and lived the past 52 years in Poway. Frank served in the Army during World War II. He married Doris Dockstader on July 27, 1952. Mr. Roberts was a member of Archie G. McArthur VFW Post #3783 in Ramona. He was a loving husband who will be missed by his wife and friends. Frank is survived by his wife of 57 years, Doris of Poway; and many friends. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery with military honors being provided by the U.S. Army. Arrangements are by Poway-Bernardo Mortuary.
