FRANK D. USSERY, 58 FREEPORT - Frank D. Ussery, 58 years old, of Freeport passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on Aug. 11, 1954, in Jacksonville, N.C., the son of Edgar and Ruby (Farley) Ussery. He was a graduate of Freeport High School. He formerly worked as a machinist at Sauer-DanFoss Co. and also formerly owned and operated Frank's Pub. Frank was an avid Harley rider. He especially enjoyed his nephew Tyler's football games along with his nephew Brad, and niece's, Kelly and Nicole's baseball games. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Ussery; grandaughter, Hayleigh; father, Edgar Ussery of Tenn.; sister, Janet (Chuck) Zannis; brothers, Timothy (Wanda) Ussery, and George (Louise) Stauffer; his soulmate, Cathie O'Shea; nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his Mother; and his brother, Glen Stauffer. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 23, at the Schwarz Park Blvd. Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd., Dr. Rev. Scott Bares will officiate. Burial of the cremains will be at Grandview Cemetery. A memorial has been established in his memory.
