Franki O. Novis, age 73 and long time resident of Yuma, Az passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011 in San Diego, CA of heart failure. She was born on August 13, 1938 to James and Clara Ollerton in Yuma, AZ. Franki Married Lyle T Novis, Jr. on June 3, 1956 in Yuma. She worked as the Secretary to Mayor Thomas F. Allt and also as a legal secretary for over 40 years. Franki is survived by her daughter, Christi (Michael) Kaiser; sons, Taylor ""Tracy"" (Laura) Novis and John (Cindy) Carter and four grandchildren, Taylor and Zack Novis; Colton and Baley Kaiser. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle, who passed away December 8, 1996; sister Patricia Clawson and brothers, Gene Ollerton and Martin Ollerton. Memorial services will be held Thursday, September 15, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 598 S 7th Ave in Yuma.
