Franklin A. "Frank" Bice, 66, of Bardstown, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016, at Bardstown Life Care. He was born on Jan. 26, 1950, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to the late Franklin A. and Dorothy Froman Bice Sr. He was a retired master sergeant for the United States Army, an avid fan of the Michigan Wolverines, loved American history and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.Survivors include his wife, Vicki Morgan Bice; a daughter, Tiffany "Derrick" McCubbins; a son, Russ "Brooke" King, both of Bardstown; two brothers, Gary Bice, of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Ricky "Teri" Bice, of Seattle; two grandchildren, Carson and Carlie King; and his father-in-law, Jack Morgan, of Bloomfield.A Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, at St. Thomas Catholic Church with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. Jason Harris will be the celebrant. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3, with prayers at 7 p.m. and after 8 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Houghlin-Greenwell Funeral Home.
