Franklin Stuart Ferguson, 72, of Thunder Bay, ON was called to be one of God's Fishermen on January 3, 2017. He is now fishing with the best. He was born on March 8, 1944 in Ottawa, ON to Frances and Margaret Ferguson. He was an electrician for 35 years working with IBEW. During this time he met his wife, Ardell "Chi Chi" Ellestad/Siers and her children, Shane and Vicki. They were married on April 15, 1983 in Two Harbors, MN. Together they embarked on an adventure owning a fishing and hunting Lodge on Sturgeon Lake, ON from 1980-1994. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved to guide people to his favourite fishing spots. After selling the camp, he retired to Ignace where they lived until 2009. Due to health reasons, they moved to Dryden for 2 years then to Thunder Bay. He is survived by his wife, Ardell; son, Shane of Hilo, HI; daughter, Vicki (Kyle); grandsons, Todd (Sabrina), Lane (Breanna), Brady; great-granddaughter, Taya; brother, Hugh; and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Helen. Services pending at a later date.
