Fred Alex Osborne, 75, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2016, after a battle with cancer. Memorial service: 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Faith Presbyterian Church in Aledo. Fred was born on Aug. 7, 1941, in Hartwell, Ga. He served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years, serving in Vietnam for one year. He retired from AAFES in 1999. He was a lifetime member of the
VFW and American Legion. Fred loved his family, animals, football, baseball, flea markets and old television westerns. Survivors: Loving wife, Dilek; daughters, Terri Prollock (Steve) of Aledo and Kimberly Dodge of Springtown; sons, Matthew Osborne of Aledo and Taylor Osborne (Laura) of Brock; brother, Fletcher Osborne (Marilyn) of Atlanta, Ga.; sister, Hannah Vickery of Hartwell, Ga.; nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a host of nieces, nephews; and dogs and cats.
