We come together as family and friends to say farewell to Fred Allen Howard who passed over on June 13, 2020. He was born to Perry Casbal Howard and Mildred Kay Tolson on Nov 27 1940 in Parkland, Lincoln Co. Oklahoma. He had two sisters, three brothers and nine half-siblings. He grew up in the red dirt of Parkland Oklahoma. He later lived all around the area in Chandler & Agra. His Favorite thing to do was fish! He loved ice-milk and his mama's cowboy soup. Fred Allen graduated from Chandler High school and married Lorene Carol Robinson on July 20, 1961. Shortly after, he joined the United States Army. He served in the Vietnam War with the 27th infantry wolfhounds Division and the 25th infantry Tropic Lightning Division. Fred was stationed in Germany and at one time in Hawaii. After serving, he came home to be with his young new family and hung up his war helmet. He was in the re-sale business, so to speak. And he was good at it. He could have your mom's wedding ring sold right off her finger to him in less than 5 minutes! He loved to play his guitar and sing Hank Williams songs where ever folks would give a listen. He enjoyed playing music with others and often did so at the Agra Senior Center. Fred had three children with Lorene Carol Robinson: Wayne Allen Howard, Janice Lynn Howard Milius, and Barbara Carol Howard Nance. Fred had one daughter with Wanda L. Grimes Rains: Karen Gail Rains Gray. Fred had one son with Norma Jeanne Laffoon: Jeffrey Lee Crosser. Fred passed away on June 13th 2020 in Thackerville, Love Co., Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters: Barbara Jaynell and Rosalyn Kay Howard Clayton, one brother Perry Casbal Howard Jr., plus nine half-siblings. He leaves behind two living brothers, Clyde Howard of Pleasantview Colorado and Jimmy Howard of Tryon Okla.
Fred has many other loved family still living including nieces and nephews and his children, along with seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
