It is with great sadness and aching hearts that we announce the passing of Fred Wilson of Bonham, Texas, United States. Born on February 16, 1950, Fred lived a vibrant and adventurous life until his final curtain call on October 2, 2023. He was a beloved husband to Nancy Wilson, father to their son Daniel Wilson, and a doting grandparent to two grandchildren.

Fred was a man of many talents and an unquenchable thirst for life. He lived each day with a mischievous twinkle in his eyes and a cheesy grin on his face. If there ever was a master of dad jokes, it was undoubtedly Grandpa Fred.

One of Fred's notable achievements was his service in the Army. He fearlessly defended his country and proved that even in the face of danger, he couldn't resist cracking a joke or two. His comrades often found themselves caught off guard, with tears of laughter streaming down their faces, while the enemy wondered if they had stumbled upon a comedy club instead of a battlefield.

When Fred wasn't busy making people laugh, he could be found exploring the great outdoors. He had a knack for turning the simplest activities, like fishing or camping, into uproarious adventures. Fred had a way of finding humor in seemingly mundane situations and bringing joy to whoever was lucky enough to be in his company.
