Fred W. Wiley, Jr.AGE: 77 • NewarkFred passed away on November 7, 2017 as a result of a serious car accident. Fred was born on July 10, 1940 in Mobile, Alabama and moved with his family to Boston, MA, as a young child. Fred joined the Air Force and served in the Vietnam War. He was the first African-American graduate of the Chemical Engineering Program at Northeastern University. He was a longtime member of MENSA and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. Viewing will be held at The House of Wright Mortuary, 208 E. 35th Street; Wilm, DE 19802 on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 2:00pm - 3:00pm. Service will follow the viewing.
