In loving memory of Frederick Michael Epstein, who passed away peaceful on July 24, 2017 in El Paso, TX. Mike as we lovingly knew him, was born on December 22, 1943 in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon his graduation from high school, Mike made his way to El Paso where he started school at UTEP, majoring in electrical engineering. He was a member of the United States Army Reserves. He was committed in the insurance field, serving for over 40 years, where he had a long career in the industry and earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation. In addition, he earned his title as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). Working for Sellers Insurance Agency, Mike became a Vice President of Commercial Lines and earned his title as President Of Marketing And Sales. He is survived by his wife Josie Arias Epstein, his daughter, Melanie Hadley, his granddaughter, Elizabeth Hadley, his son- in- law, John Hadley and his father, Fred Epstein. Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Fren Jacqueline Glassburner, who passed away on May 23, 1987 in San Diego, California. Mike was a proud member of the Humane Society and adored animals, especially his cats and dogs who held a special place in his heart. One of the most fondest memories he enjoyed, was spending time in good Old Mesilla Valley enjoying a glass of wine, overlooking the mountains in company of his wife. Mike could always be seen looking through the lens of a camera at family gatherings capturing the smiles of those he loved. One of his passions was hosting family gatherings where he outpoured his love through his cooking talents. Mike was an incredibly selfless man who enjoyed helping people and was beloved by family and many friends. We will always remember you and keep you in our hearts. His services will begin with a visitation Wednesday, 26, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 N. Zaragoza Rd. 79936. Prayer service starting at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be Thursday, July 27, 2017 at 10:00 am at Vista Del Sol Church, 11501 Vista Del Sol 79936. It will be followed by a burial at Restlawn Memorial Park 4848 Alps Dr. 79904.
