Mrs. Fredia Buellia Liford Jackson, age 59 of Barbourville was born in Barbourville, KY on July 16, 1965 to the late Joe and Doxie Hamblin Liford and departed this life on November 7, 2024 in the Barbourville ARH Hospital. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and enjoyed shopping, traveling, Boating, camping, and time with family and friends. Her greatest joy in life was being a good and loving Wife, Mother, and Nana.
In addition to her parents: Joe and Doxie Liford; 2 half-brothers: Eugene Shelton and Estile Liford; 2 Half-sisters: Lillan Shelton Mills and Shirley Shelton Ross; father and mother-in-law: John and Florence Jackson; a sister-in-law: Brenda Foster; and 2 brother in laws: John Jackson, Jr., and Gary Jackson preceded her in death.
Fredia is survived by her loving husband of over 43 years: Dewayne Jackson of Barbourville; 2 daughters: Michelle Jackson Mills and husband Aster of Barbourville, and Natasha Jackson Wilson and husband Joshua all of Barbourville; a half-brother: Wesley Shelton, Jr.; 2 brother in laws: Frank Jackson and wife Diane of Corbin, and Steve Jackson and wife Michell of IN; 2 grandchildren: Meighan Mills and fiancé Gordon Bruner, and Matthew Mills; a great grandson: Noah Bruner; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Fredia Jackson will be conducted in the Barbourville Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Creek Cemetery with family and friends serving as Pallbearers. Barbourville Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Friends will be received in the Barbourville Funeral Home on Tuesday Evening from 6 to 9 PM, and Wednesday from 10 AM to the funeral hour at 2.
