Fulgencio CamberosOxnard, CAFulgencio Camberos, 74, passed away on November 11, 2016 at his house in Oxnard, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease.Mr. Camberos was born on June 4, 1944 in Zacoalco de Torres, Jalisco, Mexico, the son of Eufracio Camberos and Tomasa Preciado. He was one of 11 children. Mr. Camberos spent his early years working to provide for his parents, and continued to provide support after immigrating to the U.S. in 1968. He met his wife, Consuelo shortly after and became a devoted husband and father.Mr. and Mrs. Camberos opened their restaurant, La Paloma Loncheria, in 1979, becoming a cornerstone in La Colonia neighborhood of Oxnard. He spent the better part of his day serving his customers who also became his friends.Mr. Camberos is survived by his beloved wife, Consuelo (Garcia) Camberos of 44 years; his son, Sergio Camberos, his wife Lisa; Daughter Nora Camberos-Hermansen and her husband Tim; his adopted daughter Anita; 13 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren; and his beloved Chihuahuas who provided constant comfort.Visitation will be held from 10:00a.m. to 10:00p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 with a prayer service to be said at 7:00p.m. at the Garcia Mortuary Chapel in Oxnard. Graveside services will be held at 10:00a.m. on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Santa Clara Catholic Cemetery.
