Costanzo, Gaetano "Kenny" POUGHKEEPSIE Gaetano "Kenny" Costanzo, 86, of the Town of Poughkeepsie, passed away at Northern Dutchess Hospital on November 1, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 27, 1930 ,in Mechanicville, the son of Joseph and Nancy Schiavo Costanzo. Kenny married Catherine V. Zaleski on July 13, 1957, at The Immaculate Conception Church in Watervliet. She predeceased him, on December 12, 2013. He was employed by I.B.M. in Poughkeepsie, as an analyst in Production Control for 32 years. He retired in 1987. Kenny, was a member of the I.B.M. Quarter Century Club and The Thunder Road Cruisers. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Kenny could be found working on his classic cars or in his wood working shop. He loved and enjoyed making wood cut outs for his family and friends. Kenny was the kindest and most loving person anyone could ask for. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather also known as "Boppy" as he was called and was full of life and lived it to the fullest. Survivors include his son, John J. (Donna) Costanzo; and daughters, Cathy (Bob) Mahoney and Karen Costanzo all of Poughkeepsie. He is also survived by a brother, Joseph Costanzo; his sisters, Carmella Hein and Nancy Garland all of Mechanicville; his grandchildren, Theresa (Saurav), Robbie, Kristi (Pete), Kenny, Michael, Shawn and several nieces and nephews. Kenny was predeceased by his brother, Frank Costanzo; and sister, Catherine DeMarco. Visitation will be Friday, November 4, from 4-8 p.m. in the, Wm. G. Miller & Son Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 5, at 10 a.m., in St. Joseph's Church, 9 Lafayette Pl., Poughkeepsie. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Poughkeepsie, with military honors. Memorial Donations may be made to the .
