Gail A. Ellis, 64, of Elk Lake, passed away unexpectedly on September 11, 2015 at the Endless Mountains Health Systems, Montrose. She was born on May 24, 1951 in Silver Lake Twp., to Richard L. Henry Sr. of Silver Lake, PA and the late Beverly C. (Cornell) Henry.She is survived by her father, Dick Henry and his wife, Jackie, Silver Lake; husband, Elwin "Punk" Ellis, Elk Lake; daughter and son-in-law, Jodi Lynn and Gary Cordner, Susquehanna; three grandsons, Kyle, Travis, and Garrett Cordner; great granddaughter, Hailey Cordner; three sisters and brother-in-law, Dawn and Kevin Brewster, Silver Lake; Debra Thomen, Binghamton, N.Y.; Brenda Holte, Binghamton, N.Y.; two brothers and sister-in-law, Richard Henry, Jr., Silver Lake, and Gary and Robin Henry, Silver Lake; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Mark Henry.Gail enjoyed bird watching, reading, traveling and was a great cook and baker. She loved to take care of her chickens and be around her family. Gail was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She owned and operated the Elk Lake Filling Station for 16 years. She was a wonderful person and was loved by all.A Funeral Service was held on Monday, September 14, 2015 at the Daniel K. Reagan Funeral Home, Montrose, with the Rev. Richard Spering officiating. Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Montrose Cemetery, Montrose.
