Gail K. Morgan1945 - 2013Gail K. Morgan, 67, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at home surrounded by her loving family. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was born on June 10, 1945, the daughter of the late Edward and Harriett (Godlewski) Wiemelt. Gail attended local schools and graduated from Mary D. Bradford. On Nov. 23, 1963, she was united in marriage to Robert Morgan. They shared in almost 50 years of marriage. Gail was a loving wife and mother; making her family her career. She loved music and all kinds of animals, but was partial to the furry felines. In her younger years, Gail played softball; a 3rd baseman always quick to respond and making those long throws to first. Intrigued with technology, she liked to surf the internet and taught herself computer programing.Gail will be missed by her husband, Robert and her daughter, Patty (Dan Stalsberg) Morgan; her two grandchildren, Stephanie (John) Gemino and Elise Beam; her brothers, Ron (Kathy) Wiemelt and Gerry (Kitty) Wiemelt along with many loving nieces and nephews and her feline companion, Homey.Along with her parents, Gail was preceded in death by a brother, Allan Wiemelt.A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013, at 6 p.m. at the Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home. Private interment will be held at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. A Gathering of Relatives and Friends will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
