Garland Likes Eagle, of Mandaree, North Dakota, passed away on May 25, 2024 at the age of 73. Born on December 6, 1950 to Joseph Beston Sr. and Gertrude McKinley Beston, Garland lived a colorful and adventurous life.

After graduating from Mandaree High School in 1972, Garland continued his studies at Bismarck State College. He went on to work at TAT Law Enforcement, where he made many friends and left a lasting impact on his colleagues.

Garland is survived by his two children Donovan Likes Eagle and Gayla Likes Eagle, and three adoring grandchildren. The family remembers Garland as a loving and dedicated father and grandfather.

One of Garland's favorite pastimes was playing at the casino, where he was known for his luck and strategic prowess. He could spend hours at the slot machines, always coming out ahead in the end.

Garland will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but we take comfort in knowing that he is now reunited with his loved ones in the great casino in the sky. Rest in peace, Garland Likes Eagle, may the jackpot be ever in your favor.
