Garrett Marshall Patterson LUBBOCK-Garrett Marshall Patterson, 37, of Lubbock died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, in his home. He was born on Aug. 7, 1979, in Lubbock, the son of Bill Patterson and Patsy Fairchild. He was a student at South Plains College. Garrett is survived by his mother, Patsy Fairchild of Lubbock; his brother, Ty and wife, Laura of Lubbock; his great-uncle, Bill Garrett and his wife, Mickey of Lubbock; his aunts, Reva Martinez of Dallas, Peggy Steed and her husband, N.H. of Lubbock, and Marshall Ann Lester of Lubbock; nephews, Alexander and Ian, and niece, Emily Patterson, all of Lubbock; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Patterson; his uncle, Mickey Patterson; his maternal grandparents, Mike and Bertha Walden of Morton; and his paternal grandparents, Leon and Frenchie Patterson of Morton. Arrangements are being handled by Sanders Funeral Home in Lubbock. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, at Rock City Event Center, 5911 4th St, with Pastor Jeff McCreight officiating.
