On December 17, 2024, we said goodbye to a beloved member of our community, Gary Rice of Louisville, Kentucky. Born on July 6, 1948, to Larry and Freda Rice, Gary lived a full and adventurous life.

He leaves behind his three children Melissa Kolath, Christopher Rice, and Pamela Payne, who will always cherish the memories they shared with their father.

Gary was a hardworking individual who spent his days as a trucker and proudly served in the Army. When he wasn't working, you could often find him enjoying his favorite hobby of riding his four-wheeler through the Kentucky countryside.

Although we are saddened by his passing, we take comfort in knowing that Gary's cause of death was natural, and he is now at peace. He will be forever remembered for his sense of humor, warm smile, and generous spirit.

Rest in peace, Gary Rice. You will be deeply missed.
